Slice wanted to announce their shiny new return rates in a way that actually stood out. Something fun, scroll-stopping, and totally different from the usual finance talk. So, we came up with a playful, gamified video inspired by classic 8-bit games. The goal was simple: grab attention and make a complex message easy and fun to understand. We built a retro Slice world, dropped our character into it, and let the story do the talking.

With such clear direction and beautiful art direction by the team at Kulfi Collective, this one hit the sweet spot. It was fun to build but equally challenging.

We animated a few key sequences, making sure the expressions and character animation were on point, transitions felt smooth and the gameplay vibes came through just right.
